Your role at Knauf :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Leadership Development & Engagement Manager to join our team. This crucial role involves leading the overall Talent Management & Succession Planning processes in close collaboration with the Country HR Teams and the Global HR organization.
Additionally, this position develops a regional leadership development roadmap aligned with business objectives in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team of the region. You will also be responsible for developing specific training curricula in our Learning Management System (BuildU) to support strategic business objectives.
Moreover, you will develop and implement a regional Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) strategy to reach world-class standards, fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities

Talent Management & Succession Planning:
- Lead the Talent Management & Succession Planning processes across the region in collaboration with Country HR Teams.
- Identify high-potential employees and work with local HR to create and oversee individual development plans.
- Facilitate talent reviews and succession planning meetings to ensure a robust leadership pipeline.
- Monitor the progress of development plans and provide guidance to ensure successful implementation.

Leadership Development:
- Develop and execute regional leadership development programs aligned with overall company strategy.
- Together with the Senior Leadership Team of the region, develop a regional leadership development roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
- Design specific training curricula in our Learning Management System (BuildU) to support strategic business objectives.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to develop leadership skills.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure consistency in leadership development initiatives.

Engagement Initiatives:
- Design and implement employee engagement strategies to boost morale, productivity, and retention.
- Assess current engagement levels through surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms.
- Organize regional events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on engaging and motivating their teams.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy:
- Develop and implement a regional DE&I strategy to achieve world-class standards.
- Collaborate with the Global DE&I team, Country HR Teams, and regional leadership to promote and enhance DE&I initiatives.
- Conduct assessments to identify current DE&I strengths and areas for improvement within the region.
- Design and execute training programs to raise awareness and foster an inclusive culture.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the efficacy and impact of DE&I initiatives.
- Drive initiatives that promote diversity in recruitment, talent development, and succession planning.

Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process by providing coaching and resources to leaders.
- Ensure alignment of performance management practices with leadership development and DE&I goals.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of leadership, engagement, and DE&I programs.

Communication & Collaboration:
- Foster strong working relationships with regional and global leadership teams.
- Collaborate with the Global HR organization and Country HR Teams to ensure seamless integration of development and DE&I initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote engagement, development, and DE&I initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the organization.

Learning culture:
- Leverage the Learning Management System (BuildU) to develop the learning culture
- Promote the Global Leadership Training offer and get a higher participation rate in our countries
- Proactively propose new trainings / concepts to the Global HR community to further foster the learning culture
Your assets for this position :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in leadership development, talent management, or organizational development.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing effective Talent Management, Succession Planning, leadership development, and DE&I programs.
- Experience developing training curricula in a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Ability to travel within the region as required.
